Nirvana - Live at Man Ray (Cambridge, MA) 1989
A few weeks ago, I posted a bootleg of the Smashing Pumpkins at TT the Bears. Well, here’s another blast from the past. Former WFNX DJ, Duane Bruce, recently uploaded a recording of Nirvana live at Man Ray (1989). Man Ray was located on Brookline Street in Cambridge, diagonal from TT the Bear’s Place. It closed in 2005 and has been replaced with apartment buildings.

This is very bootleg! 60 people in attendance on a Thursday night. Kurt had long brown hair and was all flanneled up. Krist was his usual silly self and Chad Channing was on drums. Kurt handed me a t-shirt as we headed for the stage. I read the back of it as I introduced them
