I put off taking this week’s picture because it’s so cold out. It backfired and I ended up outside on one of the coldest days this week. I’m still not sure how I feel about this photo, but I definitely like the reflections.

Jane Lynch watching Groove sing. THERE IS A PICTURE. IT HAPPENED.
A few minutes after this, the alums were invited up to sing the Groove Medley. She stayed for it. I SANG FOR JANE LYNCH.
She also shook one of the pitches’ hand and said that Groove sounded good and she liked the harmonies.
**She said she liked Groove the best out of all the a cappella groups, ahem!
So this happened when I graduated from Smith College this weekend. Jane Lynch watched my a cappella group. truly insane.
Interrupting Massachusetts-related posts to do a little bit of shameless self-promotion…
My group at Smith College is called Groove a cappella (pictured above), and we are doing a singing competition held by WGBY, the PBS station out of Springfield, MA!
Right now you can go and watch us perform “The Chain” by Ingrid Michaelson (complete with gratuitous close-ups of my face as I sing the solo) at their site and vote for us! It would mean so much if we got to the semi-finals!
